The law and governmental consulting firm of Colodny Fass has promoted Senior Attorney Matthew C. Scarfone to Partner, the Firm announced.
Licensed to practice in both Florida and his native Michigan, Mr. Scarfone focuses on insurance defense litigation and complex commercial matters. He started with the Firm as an Associate in 2011.
“Matt has been instrumental to the continued growth of our Litigation Practice Group and also has been racking up great successes in the courtroom,” Executive Management Partner Amy Koltnow explained.
Mr. Scarfone often has prevailed in cases that involve homeowners’ insurance fraud, particularly as reports of residential property water damage claims escalate statewide.
He is certified by the Florida Division of Insurance Agent and Agency Services as a Continuing Education Instructor in Adjuster Law and Policy.

Insurance Defense Lawyer Matt Scarfone handles a variety of insurance-related matters, including first-party property insurance litigation, third-party liability defense, liability insurance coverage opinions, bad faith matters, and fraud investigations.
